Day 1: Arrival
Arrival in Frankfurt and, depending on arrival time, pick-up from Frankfurt Airport. After a one-hour drive towards the Rhine and through beautiful vineyards, we arrive at a 4-star hotel near Eberbach Monastery, where we spend the night.
Day 2: Eberbach Monastery and wine tasting
The day begins at the picturesque Eberbach Monastery in the Rheingau wine region. After a relaxed start and an exploration of the historic monastery complex, an unforgettable concert awaits you in the evening in the impressive rooms of the monastery.On this day, you will enjoy a wine tour with a tasting of regional wines from the Rheingau, which are renowned for their quality and elegance. Overnight stay in a cosy hotel in the region.
Day 3: Eltz Castle
After a leisurely breakfast, the day begins with a one-hour drive to Eltz Castle, one of the most beautiful and best-preserved castles in Germany. During the drive, you will receive information about the Moselle wine-growing region and visit the castle. After the castle tour, continue to Mayschoß (Ahr) for approx. one hour and overnight stay. Wine information during/after dinner.
Day 4: Wine hike and wine tasting
Wine hike to Saffenburg, wine tasting at the top, on return visit to the cellar of the Mayschoß winegrowers' cooperative, dinner and overnight stay in Mayschoß.
Day 5: Cologne - cathedral and culture
After breakfast, the journey continues with a one-hour drive to Cologne and a visit to the impressive Cologne Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and masterpiece of Gothic architecture. After a stroll through the old town and the historic center, there is still time to visit the Cologne Wine Museum. Then an hour's drive to Kamp-Lintfort, dinner and overnight stay at Kamp Abbey.
Day 6: Kamp Monastery and journey home
To round off the trip, we visit the beautiful Kamp Monastery. The extensive monastery complex with its baroque gardens invites you to take a leisurely stroll. Afterwards, we will have lunch and a wine tasting with wines from the Lower Rhine region. After visiting the monastery, the trip ends - packed with wine experiences, culture and history.
