DAY 1: Arrival
Welcome to the Sultanate of Oman. Your chauffeur will await you in the arrival hall of Muscat International Airport and will escort you to your hotel. Overnight in Citadines or similar.
DAY 2 :Your Half-Day Muscat City Tour
will start from the Sultan Qaboos Mosque – Grand Mosque, one of the biggest in the world (please consider the dress code). The Mosque is open from 0800 HRS till 1100 HRS (except Friday). Pass the embassy quarter and enjoy a guided tour through the beautiful Royal Opera House (tour services are just available if there is no rehearsal on stage). Visit the Bait Al Zubair Museum. After this you drive along the corniche to Muttrah Souk, the oldest souk in Oman. Continue to Al Alam Palace (photo stop), which is flanked by two Portuguese Forts, called Al Mirani and Al Jalali. Check-in at hotel. In the afternoon you will again be picked up to enjoy a sunset cruise alongside the coastline of Muscat. Overnight in Citadines or similar.
DAY 3:Bimmah Sinkhole - Wadi Tiwi - Sur - Ras Al Jinz
Leave the capital of Oman to explore the beauty of the country to Bimmah Sinkhole also known as Hawiyyat Najm, turquoise colors water filled depression in a sinkhole structure. Then Enjoy a walk in Wadi Tiwi famous of nine villages and plantation of date palms and mangos. Then proceed to Sur along the coast line reach Sur and visit one of the nowadays rare traditional Dhow factories and its museum, then enjoy a walk through Al Ayjah with its beautiful old, wooden doors. In the evening you have the possibility to visit the turtle beach reserve center where turtles can be seen laying their eggs as well as baby turtles leaving their nests (please note that during your stay it is low season and there is no guarantee to see any turtles). Overnight in Sama Ras Al Jinz Ecolodge or similar.
DAY 4: Jalan Bani Bu Ali - Wadi Bani Khalid - Sharqiyah Desert

Today you will leave the coastal area to have a stop at small town Jalaan Bani Bu Ali to witness the wonderful Al Hamouda Mosque or Al-Masjid Al Kibab (mosque of domes) famous of 53 domes (Photo Stop) older than 500 years which was built by Al Hamouda trib. Then continue the journey for the chance to have a swim or to take a walk in the evergreen Wadi Bani Khalid. Then leave the Wadi to discover the beauty of Oman’s Sharqiyah Desert Sands. You will soon see the first dunes and enter the desert enjoy the sunset on the dunes and a traditional dinner at the camp. Overnight at Sama Al Wasil Desert Camp or similar
DAY 5:Desert - Ibra - Birkat Al Mauz - Nizwa
Enjoy the breakfast before leaving to experience more of this fascinating country! The busy, weekly Wednesday market in Ibra will be your first stop today. It is a traditional market for women where they sell mainly handmade crafts and incense. Discover the old part of the city to have a photo stop at Al Minzifah abandoned village before continuing to Nizwa. You will find yourself surrounded by some of the highest mountains in Oman soon and walk along the banana and date trees in Birkat al Mauz abandoned village, then have another walk along Falaj Al Khatmain the old UNISCO heritage site of irrigation system. Day 6: Bahla - Jibreen - Amouage - Muscat
In the morning get to know about Nizwa history which was the old capital of Oman has very long and powerful history. You will walk around the souq to discover the traditional market, which is divided in different sections like vegetables, dates, species and souvenirs and famous for its silver jewellery and handmade khanjars (daggers), you may meet the traditional Friday’s cattle auction market. Proceed to the 16th century fort learn more about its interesting history. Then continue the day to stop at Bahla to have a photo, which you will have glimpse about this old ancient city which is UNISCO world heritage site. Then continue to Jibreen castle known as the most beautiful 16th century castle in Oman you should not miss to visit the fort from inside, which was built by Immam Bil’arub bin Sultan and his tragic history. On your way back to Muscat you will stop at the Amouage factory. They are producing one of the finest perfumes of the world and you will be able to have a tour in the factory and to explore the diversity of the different ingredients and incenses (closed on Friday and Saturday). Day 7: Barka - Nakhal - Muscat Departure
Welcome to the Sultanate of Oman. Your chauffeur will await you in the arrival hall of Muscat International Airport and will escort you to your hotel. Overnight in Citadines or similar Today’s tour will lead you to the Al Batinah you will visit the lively fish market in Barka, where the local fisher men are selling their catch of the night. Proceed to a camel breeding farm close by Barka where normally people from all over the GCC are looking for a new racing camel. In the early afternoon you reach Nakhal. Visit its beautiful fort which is built on a high mountain. Drive through the old part of the city, passing old mud houses and beautiful gardens and reach to the hot springs Ain Thawarah. Enjoy a walk along the palm trees and the pool area. After that you return to Muscat and reach the airport for your departure flight or your guide will transfer you to the booked hotel for yourextension stay.
