Best Season: Late June to early October. Snow can be present on the trail in early and late season.
Gear: Good hiking boots, trekking poles, weatherproof clothing, a headlamp, snacks, and plenty of water. Crampons may be needed in early or late season if there’s snow.
Weather: Conditions can change quickly in the Alps. Check the weather forecast in advance and be prepared for rapid changes.
Difficulty: Moderate to challenging due to distance and elevation gain. The Reintal Route is non-technical but requires good physical fitness.
Accommodation: We will reserve your spot at Watzmannhaus.
