Itinerary

Day 1 : Beijing – Lanzhou

Transfer via: Flight (Duration: 2.5 hours), Economy Class, arranged by Odynovo

Arrive in Lanzhou, be met by your personal tour guide and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2 : Lanzhou

Drive about 2 hours to the first large reservoir in Yellow River – Liujiaxia Reservoir. Continue with an hour’s speedy boat and then you will be at Bingling Temple. Here, the Thousand Buddha Caves with elegant stone carvings, clay sculptures and murals over 1,500 years old will lure you.

Day 3 : Lanzhou – Zhangye

Transfer via: Bullet D train, First Class Seat, arranged by Odynovo

Meals: Breakfast, A la carte Chinese lunch(included, CNY 100 per adult allowance)

Accommodation: Runhu Holiday Hotel, Standard Room

In the morning, be transferred to railway station for your bullet train to Zhangye, the former vital town on Silk Road now comes back to the front again for the rainbow-like Danxia landscapes. Upon arrival, be picked up and driven to visit Zhangye Danxia Geopark.

Day 4  : Zhangye – Jiayuguan

Transfer via: Private vehicle, arranged by Odynovo

Today, you will visit the Giant Buddhist Temple which houses the largest Reclining Buddha in Asia. Then proceed to the north to Jiayuguan by 2.5 hours’ drive. After arrival, expore the Great Wall at Jiayuguan (included the museum), Jiayuguan Pass, and the Overhanging Great Wall if time permits.

Day 5 : Jiayuguan – Dunhuang

Transfer via: Private vehicle, arranged by Odynovo

Drive forward the north again to arrive in Dunhuang. On the way, you will visit the Yunlin Caves. —

Day 6 : Dunhuang

Dunhuang got known to the world because of the Mogao Grottos. Today, you will visit the Mogao Caves and discover why it sensationalized the world. Afterwards,continue to the Crescent Moon Spring and Singing Sand Dune. Then enjoy some leisure hours at the Shazhou Night Market. ——

Day 7 : Dunhuang – Beijing

Transfer via: Flight (Duration: 3.5 hours), Economy Class, arranged by Odynovo

Meals: Breakfast Free at leisure until be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.

Passengers are entitled to a free luggage allowance of 20 kg for checked baggage and 5 kg for carry-on baggage. In the event that the specified flight or train is unavailable at the time of booking, we will arrange the closest available alternative.

Early check-in or late check-out is subject to room availability and may generate additional full-day room charges. * In some remote or protected areas in Africa, such as Uganda, solar power is the main source of energy which is not suitable for using Air Conditioners at their lodges, and they will provide fans in the room, and in fact, air-cons are not necessary in these National Parks or Reserves.

7. Private transfers between airports, hotels and scenic spots while sightseeing in each city or area via private air-conditioned vehicle as listed in the itinerary. Appropriate size vehicles will be used according to the number of your group to ensure you have enough leg room and luggage space. Please be aware that the arrival or departure transfer is based on all members arriving or departing on the same flight, additional cost will be charged when arriving or departing on different flights and separate transfers.

8. Bottled water on sightseeing days Odynovo Tours provides our customers with at least one bottle of drinking water per day on the days with sightseeing. However, in an effort to help reduce single-use plastic bottle waste while traveling, some of our suppliers made a decision not to provide bottled water in some destinations, such as South America and Africa. In that case, we will provide you with a reusable bottle so that you can fill the water from your hotel, and you will be able to purchase bottled water from shops during the trip. 9. 2. Passport and Visa: Your passport should be valid for a certain period beyond your intended stay in the destination country. The required validity can vary. Six months beyond your planned departure date from the destination country is a common requirement. And ensure you have at least 2 blank pages for visa stamps. Visa requirements vary from country to country; please consult your travel consultant for more details if you are unsure whether a visa is required for your trip.

3. Payment Transaction Fee: An additional 3% payment transaction fee of total amount is required when paying by credit card, and 3.5% if you opt for PayPal payment. While on wire transfer, there will normally be a bank fee of USD30-50 per transaction.

4. Gratuities: The suggested gratuities of USD 10-15 per traveler per day to the tour guide, USD 6-8 per traveler per day to the driver, and USD 3 per traveler to our representative at the airport or station if there is one. However, this is just a suggestion and gratuity is all depending on the services you receive.

5. Travel Insurance: Kindly note that the full coverage travel insurance from your country of origin should be purchased in advance on your own.
