General Terms and Conditions (AGB) for Gate of Nations GmbH

  1. Scope of Application
    These Terms and Conditions apply to all travel arrangements, bookings, and services provided by Gate of Nations GmbH, a registered DMC and tour operator in Germany. By confirming a booking, the client agrees to abide by these terms.
  2. Payment Terms
    2.1 Deposit
    A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total invoice amount is required within 7 calendar days of the booking confirmation.
    2.2 Final Payment
    The remaining 70% must be received no later than 30 calendar days before the commencement of services.
    2.3 Late Bookings
    For bookings made less than 30 days before the start of services, full payment is due immediately upon confirmation.
    2.4 Accepted Methods of Payment
    Bank transfer, credit card (Visa, MasterCard), or PayPal. Transaction and conversion fees are the responsibility of the client.
  3. Cancellations and Refunds
    Cancellations must be made in writing and are subject to the following fees:

    Refunds, when applicable, will be processed within 14 business days after receipt of the cancellation notice.

  4. Changes and Modifications
    Requests for changes (e.g., participant numbers, dates) are subject to availability. Administrative fees may apply. We reserve the right to adjust pricing in the case of significant modifications.
  5. Force Majeure
    In the case of force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, war, government actions), both parties shall be relieved of their obligations. We will attempt to provide rescheduled services or suitable alternatives wherever possible.
  6. Liability
    Liability is limited in accordance with German travel law (§§ 651a ff. BGB). The company ensures all services are provided by licensed, insured, and qualified partners.
  7. Insurance
    Clients are strongly advised to purchase appropriate travel insurance, including coverage for trip cancellation, health emergencies, baggage loss, and personal liability.
  8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
    These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Germany. The place of jurisdiction is the company’s registered business address.
  9. Financial Stability Clause
    If the client experiences temporary financial hardship, they may submit a written request for a payment extension or installment plan. Approval is at the sole discretion of Gate of Nations GmbH and must be confirmed in writing.
  10. Flight booking links displayed on this website are purely informational. Gate of Nations GmbH does not intermediate, sell, or process flight tickets. In accordance with Directive (EU) 2015/2302 (Package Travel) and Directive 2000/31/EC (E-Commerce), any contractual relationship regarding flight services arises exclusively between the user and the third-party provider. Liability for prices, availability, cancellations or refunds remains solely with the provider.
