This short excursion is for the tourists visiting Tehran, for other reasons than sightseeing, but have a free day to dedicate to a little cultural adventure in the north of the capital of Iran.

Tehran has two faces, modern and classic. On this tour, we take you to the northern part of the capital to visit the modern and wealthy area in Tehran. The tour starts with visiting Niavaran palace, the last palace built before the revolution of 1979. Then our drive continues to Darband, a beautiful gorge in the foothills of Alborz high range and now it is a part of the capital of Iran with lots of cafes and restaurants making there a popular place for people. We will have a walk in the gorge to visit the combination of nature and civilization. After Darband, the Tehran’s North tour continues in Saad-Abad palace and garden, a walk-in Saad-Abad garden and visiting two palaces from the Pahlavi era with amazing structure and decoration. In the afternoon, the last place to visit is Tabiat (nature) bridge, the symbol of modern life in Tehran with an interesting structure to connect two parks on an expressway with a spectacular view of the northern part of Tehran and Alborz mountains. The excursion would finish by driving back to your accommodation place in Tehran.
